Job Description

As a Global HR Process Specialist – Workforce Management, you are co-responsible for the delivery of global processes and solutions to our local HR teams. You will be working closely with them to understand their needs while keeping processes aligned globally.

The Global HR Process Specialist coordinates the implementation of Workforce Management, driven by the latest developments in HR Technology (in particular Quinyx). Next to that you will coordinate the improvement of existing processes and support the best usage of the scheduling system of employees in local stores, e.g. based on local regulations and payroll related dependencies. On top of a continuous innovation mindset, you deliver and run projects, e.g. deploying Workforce solutions to new countries and collaborating closely with our Retail and Business Technology functions to simplify and further automate our scheduling processes in our stores.

You easily find solutions to challenging situations and take a pragmatic approach to optimize business use whilst looking for sustainable solutions. Your goal is to provide a professional and smooth user experience for local HR teams and store managers. You will use your creativity and people skills to connect with all relevant stakeholders (from HR Directors to end-users), and get all the information you need to solve the puzzle on both workforce management scheduling optimization and innovation.

On top of this:

  • You provide functional expertise and support to global counterparts for workforce management process specific activities, ensuring global-local alignment.
  • You have a constructive mindset in finding solutions to problems, reviewing change requests, implementation of changes, ensuring proper performance of our workforce processes.
  • You can draft/improve business process descriptions while challenging local HR on their assumptions.
  • You define local user stories as well as bringing forward your own user stories to change workforce management processes and systems.
  • You guide and support local HR teams in testing and training related activities regarding WFM.
  • You proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers and successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • As part of an agile delivery team, you’ll work closely with the Product and Project Manager from Business Technology, the HR Business, the internal WFM community and external vendors to deliver collective results.
  • You are able to drive and coordinate small projects in the area of Workforce Management, with guidance and support of a Project Manager.
  • You’ll report to the Head of Global HR Process Excellence who is responsible for a team that consists of other Global HR Process Specialists and HR Project Leads that have a joined ambition to further automate our global HR processes at Rituals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Workforce Management, Human Resources or Business Management related area and around 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

  • Prior experience in a Workforce Management role and/or Consultancy role.
  • Demonstrated project management (Prince2, scrum/agile, PMBOK) and change management experience.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, helicopter view and analytical skills across various programs / platforms.
  • Experience using data to identify insights that drive action.
  • Strong ability to develop highly effective partnerships across all levels, applying influence without using formal authority to deliver results.
  • Curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo while maintaining a collaborative approach.
  • Translating business requirements to solid solutions.
  • It’s preferred to have experience with Quinyx and/or other Workforce management solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an eye for detail.
