Job Description

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our talented operations team. As the Payroll Administrator, you will work with the Accounting and Talent teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data input and financial reporting related to payroll. We are looking for someone who can think critically to resolve issues as they arise, pay attention to details to ensure accuracy, embrace confidentiality, a professional demeanor in all interactions, and a mindset to always look for more efficient ways to complete a task. This individual must independently manage their responsibilities while being a solid representative of Resultant’s culture and core values.
Consider your day-to-day responsibilities in this role:
Payroll:
Process and manage the bi-weekly payroll for all employees
Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Analyze, audit, and maintain accurate employee tax withholding, wage garnishment, wage distribution and other related payroll data
Assist with payroll reporting, audit and reconciliations
Process manual adjustments to employee wage and tax records
Evaluate existing payroll processes and monitor effectiveness, establish standard operating procedures, and make recommendations to the Accounting Manager for continuous process improvement
Complete special projects and initiatives as required
Research information for any state notices received concerning withholding and various other payroll taxes
Track and maintain account information for various states that employees are located in
Audit payroll versus upload files to various benefit vendors
Assist with commission
Qualifications
Some of the qualifications and skills we are expecting the person filling this role to have include:
3+ years of progressive payroll experience
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
Multi-state payroll processing experience preferred
Familiarity with US wage and tax laws
Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information
Ability to multi-task, manage changing priorities, and work well under pressure
Experience with ADP or UKG preferred
Strong math/accounting aptitude with excellent attention to detail
