Job Description

Rest’s Data, Technology and Delivery (DTD) business unit is accountable for planning and preparing the
organisation for the future through strategic technology innovation, as well as charting our business
strategy and executing for today and tomorrow.

Situated in the Business Analysis Practice, the Senior Business Analyst has two main priorities:
1. Supporting the Product Owner/Business Owner/Sponsors to ensure that business needs and
solutions options are understood
2. Ensuring the product/platform/project team have a shared understanding of the requirements,
through written and verbal communication.


Domain Experience:

  • Extensive investment domain experience across Front, Middle, and Back Office, with strong collaboration with Investment teams to support delivery of data and system initiatives.
  • Proven ability to document current state and define future state, facilitating workshops and translating business needs into clear requirements and solution designs.
  • Experience working in Private Markets and Responsible Investments, supporting data, reporting, and system enhancements aligned to investment strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with investment data, data mapping, and reporting, including working with data tools and ensuring alignment across upstream and downstream systems.
  • Strong experience supporting UAT planning and execution, partnering with Business SMEs to validate outcomes and ensure successful project delivery within superannuation operating models.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

  • IIBA® or similar industry standard certification preferred.

Required experience, understanding or credentials including:

  • Business domain knowledge in superannuation or financial services desirable
  • Ability to understand business functionality, business complexity and interdependencies
  • Ability to develop compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
  • Highly developed strategic, analytical, problem solving, issues management and evaluation skills to deliver innovative solutions
