Join Rest as a Senior Performance Reporting Analyst and play a key role in how we measure, explain and communicate the performance of our investment options. You’ll help shape the performance reporting framework – people, processes and systems – and support the Manager in leading day‑to‑day operations of the team. In this role you will:
- Deliver accurate, timely performance, exposure and attribution reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor regulatory developments (including APRA Performance Tests) and provide clear analysis and commentary
- Develop and maintain the Whole of Fund attribution model and share insights on drivers of performance
- Oversee daily performance reporting from our custodian and support continuous improvement of processes
- Contribute to regulatory reporting (e.g. APRA, RG97, portfolio holdings, OTC derivatives)
- Partner with Investment Analytics and other stakeholders to enhance and automate reporting using tools such as State Street Alpha / Charles River and FactSet
- Provide guidance and mentoring to Performance Reporting analysts
Qualifications
- Degree or qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Mathematics, Information Management or a related field
- Experienced in analytics, risk or performance reporting in an investment, custodian or vendor environment
- Skilled in FactSet and Whole of Fund attribution models, including notional exposure of derivatives (FX forwards, equity and fixed income futures)
- Strong knowledge of performance calculation methods (unit price, time-weighted, money-weighted) and how derivatives impact returns
- CIPM preferred; CAIA or CFA highly regarded
- Proven ability to interpret and clearly explain performance attribution results to portfolio managers and senior stakeholders
- Experience with investment data solutions (e.g. FactSet, Bloomberg, custodian data services, front-office platforms)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder skills, with a track record of owning end-to-end workflows and driving improvements
