Job Description

  • EA to the Chief Investment Officer of one of Australia's largest Superfunds
  • Hybrid and flexible working - ideally 3-4 days in our Circular Quay office

  • Senior role, permanent position

Your role will be providing high-level executive support to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO).

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring actions and outcomes arising from correspondence and meetings and identifying opportunities to make information available at the right time to support the CIO.
  • Manage the CIO's office, including travel arrangements, expenses, and invoices.
  • Prepare for meetings by gathering relevant background information and briefings from business SMEs or through independent research.
  • Attend Management Investment Committee (MIC) and other key meetings as requested, maintaining notes and monitoring actions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the CIO's office with the Board, strategic investment managers, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely completion of all investment reporting requirements and escalate issues to the CIO as needed.
  • Support various CIO office initiatives, including Leadership Team activities, internal communications, and investments offsite.
  • Contribute to building an effective and cohesive Investment Administration group, setting a leading example for behavioural standards within the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in administrative support of a C level leader.
  • Extensive experience managing leaders’ diaries and inbox.
  • Experience in superannuation, financial services, insurance, or professional services highly desirable
  • Tech savvy operator, comfortable working with Microsoft Office, iPhone /iPad, Microsoft Teams, V/C in meeting rooms, facilitating hybrid meetings. 
  • Communication and interpersonal sensitivity and discretion
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated experience with planning and organising, coupled with high attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, committed and proactive.
  • Comfortable and effective in dealing with all levels of people.
  • Demonstrated experience with planning and organising, coupled with high attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness
