Job Description

  • Chip Application Development: Define Power IC application methodologies and develop application hardware solutions, conduct power IC evaluations and debugging on chip and board level 
  • Chip Validation: Develop hardware/software for Power IC evaluation, generate comprehensive reports, and drive issue resolution to ensure chip performance meets requirements
  • Technical Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for clients and internal team, such as Design Engineer, FAE and Marketing, deliver solutions for technical issues, and conduct FA/RMA analysis with detailed reports
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and application design tools, such as Datasheet, Evaluation report, Application note; create technical promotion and training materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years experience or Master's degree with 5+ years experience in Power Electronics or related field
  • Strong hardware design, development, and debugging capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of PMIC architectures (Buck/Boost/Buck-Boost, LDO, Charger, etc.)
  • Proficiency in schematic design tools (Altium Designer/Cadence)
  • Experience in PCB layout optimization for power delivery networks
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment
  • Familiarity with serial communication protocols: I2C, SPI
  • Python proficiency - ability to independently develop automated test scripts and platforms for chip performance validation
  • Excellent initiative and learning agility to quickly understand client systems and application requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges
  • Fluent English communication capability for effective collaboration with global teams
  • Professional technical documentation skills in English with clear logical structure
  • Customer-focused mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
