Job Description
As a Sr. Staff Marketing Manager for Physical AI & Humanoid Robotic Solutions, you will develop and execute the marketing and positioning strategy for Renesas's integrated solutions across the robotics segment in the South East China region. Your responsibility is to position Renesas as the essential semiconductor partner for companies building production-scale humanoid robots by crafting compelling narratives, value propositions, and technical messaging through solution architecture documentation, customer engagement materials, and strategic storytelling. You will need to understand the specific technical requirements of humanoid design: real-time motion control, multi-axis coordination, safety-critical failsafes, deterministic latency, sensor fusion, and power constraints—and create content that articulates how Renesas's full-stack architecture (compute, motor control, analog mixed-signal, sensing, and safety) solves these challenges. You will be the voice translating customer requirements into Renesas marketing narratives and ensuring sales enablement, analyst positioning, and market narrative are synchronized. Your deep technical knowledge, marketing acumen, and entrepreneurial mindset will directly drive how humanoid platform companies of all sizes understand and adopt Renesas's integrated solutions.
- Conduct deep market and technical discovery into humanoid robotics challenges and customer requirements. Understand bipedal/quadrupedal motion control, dexterous manipulation, real-time sensor fusion, multi-threaded safety-critical computation, analog signal conditioning, power budgeting, thermal management, and deterministic latency budgets. Translate these into compelling use cases and positioning narratives.
- Develop and communicate Renesas's integrated solutions portfolio for humanoid robotics. Create compelling narratives that articulate how compute platforms, real-time safety-critical control, motor control silicon, analog/mixed-signal solutions for power and sensing, and distributed sensing architecture converge into a defensible, reproducible platform vs. point solutions from competitors.
- Architect customer-facing solutions and reference designs that map Renesas portfolio to specific humanoid design challenges. Co-develop technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, bill-of-materials, and proof-of-concept roadmaps that de-risk adoption and accelerate design-in timelines.
- Create comprehensive solutions marketing content: technical briefs, solution overviews, case studies, white papers, webinar content, presentation decks, and video narratives that position Renesas capabilities for humanoid platform architects and system engineers. Ensure all content is technically accurate, customer-centric, and differentiated vs. competitors.
- Develop customer engagement strategies and workshop agendas for humanoid companies. Create discussion frameworks that help customers understand how Renesas solutions map to their specific architecture decisions and long-term platform roadmaps.
- Train and enable field sales and FAE teams with technical positioning, competitive messaging, and customer-centric narratives. Develop sales collateral, competitive positioning guides, and talking points that empower teams to articulate Renesas's full-stack advantage in customer conversations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or equivalent technical discipline
- 5 - 7+ years of experience in Solutions Marketing, Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, Business Development, Systems Engineering, or Field Applications Engineering with experience in robotics, autonomous systems, embedded systems, or real-time control domains
- Proven track record in solutions marketing or technical marketing in fast-growth, high-tech companies—particularly semiconductor, embedded systems, or robotics platforms. Experience positioning integrated, multi-component solutions is essential.
- Familiarity with humanoid robotics, AMRs, and other classifications of robotics their challenges, design architectures and reference design platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven experience engaging diverse customers, cultures, cross-functional teams, and distributed international organizations
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership presence, and results-oriented drive. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and owning outcomes in fast-moving markets
