The Staff Product Marketing Specialist drives the go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and revenue growth for Renesas’ Standard Products (Switches, Level Translators, EEPROM, Multi-port Memory, and Digital Potentiometers). Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, this role leads a small team (2+ people) and bridges engineering, manufacturing, and sales to define new products and capture global market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a focused team of product marketing professionals while managing the lifecycle of the Standard Products portfolio from definition to EOL.
  • Drive New Product Definition (NPD) by translating market trends, competitive research (TAM/SAM/SOM), and customer needs into technical specifications and strong business cases.
  • Execute global go-to-market strategies, establishing value propositions, pricing models, and volume discount structures across automotive, industrial, consumer, and data center verticals.
  • Enable global sales channels and distributors with technical collateral, training, and targeted demand-generation campaigns.
  • Partner with manufacturing operations to align build plans with market demand and safeguard against supply chain disruptions.

Qualifications

  • Technical expertise in semiconductor fundamentals with a proven track record in New Product Definition for analog/digital devices.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret market data, model pricing, forecast revenue, and present complex ideas to executives and customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, applications engineering, or technical sales within the semiconductor industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing small, highly technical teams.
  • Experience with ModelN, SAP, and PowerBI is an advantage.

Additional Information

US

The expected annual pay range for this position is $117,000 - $160,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities.  Please note that the final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.

This posting is for a new vacancy.  The expected annual pay range for this position is $98,000 - $122,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities.  Please note that the final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
