Job Description

We are seeking fresh/experienced Test Maintenance Technician to support and sustain Final Test (FT) operations in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining stable test performance, supporting equipment and hardware, and ensuring consistent product quality and manufacturing efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, monthly, 3/6 monthly preventative maintenance (PM) on ATE testers, handlers, and contactors.
  • Clean and replace consumable parts like contactor pins, sockets, and indexers.
  • Perform routine calibration of the test system's instruments (voltage sources, digital pins, parametric measurement units).
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues related to the test cell, including mechanical, electrical, and thermal problems
  • Support Test Engineers in correlating failures and gathering data for root cause analysis.
  • Work closely with Engineers to implement process improvements and resolve yield issues
  • Participate in failure analysis and root cause investigations
  • Prepare and maintain test-related documentation and reports

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electronic Engineering/ Mechatronic Engineering
  • Strong understanding of electronics, mechanical.
  • Proficiency with ATE platforms (e.g., UltraFLEX, V93K, T2000) and Class/Tape Handler (eg: EPSON handler, JHT, Vitrox) is a major plus.
  • Familiarity with handler/prober mechanics and thermal control systems.
  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for patterns.
  • High level of initiative to troubleshoot complex hardware/software systems.
  • Rigorous attention to detail and procedure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Experience supporting high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments
  • Added advantage with ability to read and interpret datasheets, test limits, and schematics
