Job Description

To reinforce our Application Engineering, Automotive Digital Products Marketing Division, based in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a highly motivated

Key Responsibilities of the Team:

  • Support of hardware solutions for Renesas 32-bit Automotive Microcontrollers
  • Contribute to new product definition and planning
  • Collection, definition and follow-up on customer / market hardware requirements
  • Define hardware requirements for future Microcontroller products and discuss them with the respective development teams
  • Bridge hardware solutions with related software solutions, requirements and tools
  • Work with internal marketing teams to define and roll-out Renesas solution menus
  • Provide technical support for Renesas internally and to customers
  • Creation and presentation of supporting material such as Collaterals, Application Notes, Trainings
  • Coordination and effective information exchange with Renesas Headquarter

Qualifications

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience
  • Strong communication skills, team-oriented and the ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Fundamental knowledge of embedded Microcontrollers
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) and German (preferable)
  • Ideally experienced in:
    • MCU architecture(s) preferably ARM
    • Fundamental knowledge of embedded Microcontrollers
    • Programming of embedded Microcontrollers (C / C++ preferred)
    • Product definition and requirement management
    • Handling of complex technical RfQ’s in collaboration with key customers
    • Customer negotiations
  • Valid residence and work permit for Germany or another EU country is required

Regular presence in the office in Duesseldorf is necessary
