Job Description
As a Staff Application Engineer in our Technical Marketing team, you will work in a global environment providing support and comprehensive technical information to our customers, internal teams and businesses partners. The technical focus will be on RH850 microcontrollers in general and the handling of the according eco-system with respect to automotive standards.
Job Description:
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers, internal teams and businesses partners.
- Perform product training and workshops.
- Provide technical expertise with respect to RH850 devices and their eco-systems
- Drive the market introduction of Renesas MCU’s products in cooperation with key customers.
- Develop a solid technical understanding of our products with respect to automotive systems.
- Contribute to technical definition of new products in collaboration with key customers
- Provide demos and application notes.
- Travel to customers, business partners and internally if required.
Qualifications
- Graduate in Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of automotive applications and related eco-systems
- Ideally experience in:
- Measurements, debugging and analyzing problems in customer projects
- Development of embedded software and/or hardware
- MCU architecture(s) preferably RH850
- Automotive communication and security (preferably) standards
- Good sense of understanding technical requirements and customer expectations
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Good command of the English language (written and spoken) and German (preferable)
- Proficient handling of standard PC tools (MS-Office)
- Valid residence and work permit for Germany or another EU country is required.
- Regular presence in office and working in our electronic laboratory in Duesseldorf is necessary.
