We are currently inviting applications for The Stables Brasserie & Bar Manager to join and lead the front of house team at The Stables Brasserie.  

As a member of the management team, The Stables Brasserie & Bar Manager is instrumental in developing and fulfilling the tactical as well as strategically requirements for The Stables Brasserie and executing the F&B philosophy. The role is responsible for creating an atmosphere and culture that will inspire guest to return and team members to remain. The goals are the implementation, promotion, and success of The Stables operations through continual evaluation of the products/services provided while ensuring effective ongoing training of the service teams. The role will lead and oversee a strong culture of service excellence The role will develop SOP's, guidelines and goals in line with the vision set out. This role will coordinate and oversee all aspects and functions of the  Stables Brasserie. 

General Responsibilities: 

• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment. 
• Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant and hotel policies and procedures.
• Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
• Continually strive to develop your team in all areas of  professional development.
• Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
• The stock management and stocktake.
• Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the brasserie and hotels receiving policies and procedures.
• Oversee and ensure that food & beverage and brasserie policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
• Schedule team members as required by anticipated business activity.
• Staff communication and training.
• Be knowledgeable of food & beverage policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action when required. 
• Develop the overall product & ensure constant delivery of the highest in standards of customer service in the Stables Brasserie 

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate will have the following experience in a similar role:

• 2+ years experience in a similar role as an established manager/head of department
• Proven experience in leading a F&B team.
• Excellent IT Skills including a proficient user of MS Office and excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisational, negotiation and communication skills are a must including fluent spoken and written English.
