Longueville Manor is the 1st and only 5 red star Hotel in the Channel Islands. It is situated a mile to the east of St. Helier, the capital of the Island of Jersey. The island is fringed with miles of sandy beaches and is frequently blessed with the longest hours of sunshine in the UK. Set in 17 acres of parkland, this 13th century Norman manor house has been lovingly restored and run as a hotel by the Lewis family for over 75 years.

Today, the hotel has 26 double rooms, 4 suites and a 2 bedroom cottage, with a 3AA rosette restaurant, which enjoys a strong local following as well as an international reputation and is the only Relais & Châteaux member in the Channel Islands.

Longueville Manor is Jersey’s only AA Five Red Star hotel, and the sole member of Relais & Châteaux.  The successful candidate will be essential in providing the finest, personalised service, ensuring our 5 red AA star standards, and 3 AA rosette standards are met. You will supervise a team of Commis De Rang, and Demi chef De Rang, to ensure that service is consistent, supporting the management team with all training and running our 60 cover restaurant, room service orders, the lounge, bar and terrace areas and event spaces. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in working this level in a similar environment. The position it's hands on, working alongside your team. This role reports into the restaurant manager and is  involved in developing our restaurant team to highest of standards. We pride ourselves on service, you must be service oriented and motivated by creating outstanding experiences ensuring guests feel at home during their stay and nothing is too much trouble.

We are looking for an individual educated within the hotel and restaurant industry, with excellent previous experience at a 5* level.
