The ryokan is immersed in the nature, and it features 16 rooms overlooking a forest garden, 3 libraries, hot springs, the Horin fine dining restaurant and Spa Entei.

JAPANESE LANGUAGE SKILLS: preferred but not requested
MAIN DUTIES
- Greet guests courteously and professionally.
- Administer check-in procedures in an efficient and friendly manner.
- Guide guests to each of the hotel’s facilities and escort guests to their room providing explanation regarding room features.
- Administer check-in procedures, including but not limited to assisting with luggage, in an efficient and friendly manner.
- Provide professional, friendly customer service at all times in accordance with standards.
- Provide information including but not limited to local attractions, transportation and restaurants for international guests.
- Respond to international correspondence in a timely manner and in well written English.
- Process professionally and efficiently English reservations via phone, email, PMS.
- Should work well both in a team and independently without instruction.
TRAINING
Occasionally, the candidate may support the F&B team as part of the training of Front Office Specialist:
- Serve breakfast and dinner in Horin Dining Room
- Use proper Japanese serving techniques.
- Provide explanation about the daily menu including wine liquor and seasonal ingredients.
- Understand food and hygiene standards and uphold these at all times.
- Clean and set up assigned sections in the Dining Room.
Qualifications

About:
- Japanese language: preferred but not requested
- English: requested
Work experience in hospitality: preferred but not requested
Additional Information
Salary ranges from JPY 180,000 to 250,000 (before taxes) per month. It is discussed case by case, depending on the candidate's language skills and work experience.
As per the Japanese law, taxes and insurance are to be paid by both the employer and employee.

- accommodation (however, we will help the candidate to find an apartment near Beniya Mukayu, approximate rental JPY 38,000 bills excluded)
