About the role:
As Associate Director, Commercial Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Redcare Pharmacy brings its non-Rx assortment to life across Europe. This is a unique opportunity to build a new commercial excellence function from the ground up, creating scalable ways to turn strategic assortment decisions into visible, customer-centric and commercially successful initiatives across multiple markets.
Job Description
About your tasks:
- Build and scale the Commercial Excellence function by establishing the operating model, governance, roadmaps and success metrics that enable consistent execution across European markets.
- Lead high-impact commercial initiatives such as bundles, sets, supplier activation and merchandising projects, transforming assortment growth into increased customer relevance, visibility and conversion.
- Drive cross-functional strategic projects by bringing together Category Management, Product Data Management, Strategic Procurement, Commercial Operations, Retail Media, Marketplace, Marketing, Pharma and Operations to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Turn data into commercial opportunities by leveraging assortment performance, category insights and customer behavior to identify scalable growth initiatives and improve commercial performance.
- Create transparency and momentum by introducing clear prioritization frameworks, dashboards and governance structures that enable informed decision-making and continuous optimization.
Qualifications
About you:
- You bring 8 years extensive experience in Commercial Excellence, Category Strategy, E-commerce, Retail, FMCG, Consulting or a comparable commercial environment, with a proven track record of delivering measurable business impact.
- You have a strong understanding of assortment management, merchandising, supplier activation, digital retail or marketplace dynamics, and know how to translate insights into commercial actions.
- You enjoy building new capabilities from scratch, combining strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to execution in a fast-paced environment.
- You communicate confidently in English and thrive in an international, highly collaborative environment where influencing senior stakeholders comes naturally.
