Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Administer and manage the order process and assist the Salt Lake City Warehouse Manager in management and coordination of shipping department daily operations. Provide clerical and administrative support for the Salt Lake City Warehouse.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer and manage the order process to ensure maximum service delivered to all customers.

  • Maintain ship support and invoicing by editing orders, verifying information, and adjusting inventory.

  • Maintain inventory adjustments through updating bin locations and transfers.

  • Assist Customer Service in RW by researching and resolving concerns. 

  • Provide receptionist and administrative support for office area.

  • Separate and distribute mail, packages and any other communications received.

  • Maintain and enter receipts and issues into the computer system.

  • Maintain general office operations and documentation by updating files, completing general documentation, and creating communication documents.

  • Track attendance and collect/process all payroll data to Red Wing in a timely manner.

  • Maintain and order office supplies and oversee the repair and maintenance of office equipment, (telephone equipment, FAX machine, copy machine, typewriters, etc.). 

  • Assist in data base system maintenance.

  • Provide shipping support when necessary.

     

    OTHER DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain quality service by establishing, following and enforcing organizational quality system standards.

  • Uphold Red Wing Shoe Company’s core values.

  • Complete other duties as assigned from time to time by your manager.

  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, classes or programs.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and six months to one year related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience must be related to customer service.

 

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent data entry skills

  • Proficient use of Word, Excel, E-Mail, Internet, and ASI system.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

  • Infor M3 and/or other ERP systems experience
