POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Digital Growth - Performance is the strategic owner of paid media and digital sale efforts for the New York Red Bulls and Sports Illustrated Stadium’s broader event portfolio. They are responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive ticket sales, revenue, lead generation, and fan growth across digital and traditional channels.
This role sits at the intersection of paid media, data analytics, audience strategy, creative, and ticketing, with a primary focus on Meta and Google. You will oversee the strategy, execution, optimization, and measurement of campaigns across key business priorities including single-match tickets, groups, flex plans, season memberships, third-party events, and other club initiatives. This role will be responsible for understanding how media investment translates into business outcomes. That includes developing media plans, analyzing performance across audiences, geographies, matches, channels, and creative, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scale, and partnering with the internal data and analytics team to strengthen attribution and measurement capabilities.
This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who thinks deeply about how media drives revenue, is energized by data and analysis, and can move seamlessly between a pivot table, an ad platform, a media plan, and a creative brief. The ideal candidate understands that great performance marketing is not simply about optimizing campaigns—it is about understanding what is driving the business and using those insights to make smarter decisions.
Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Manage paid media strategy and execution across Meta, Google, and other digital channels, ensuring campaigns are aligned to ticket sales, revenue, lead generation, and broader business objectives.
Lead media planning and budget allocation across digital and traditional channels including OOH, CTV, audio, and other emerging opportunities—determining where, when, and how to invest for maximum impact.
Manage Google performance strategy, including Search keyword analysis, query/intent insights, campaign structure, PMAX optimization, audience strategy, and ongoing opportunities to improve efficiency and capture demand.
Own performance analysis and reporting, building clear views of spend, sales, revenue, CAC, ROAS, ATP, volume, and other KPIs. Use Excel, pivot tables, dashboards, and platform reporting to identify trends, diagnose performance, and turn data into actionable recommendations.
Connect media performance to ticketing outcomes, analyzing campaign, match, audience, geography, channel, and creative-level performance to understand what is actually driving sales and revenue.
Partner with the internal data/analytics team to develop reporting, attribution, audience insights, and measurement capabilities—serving as the marketing lead to scope projects, prioritize needs, and ensure insights translate into action.
Continuously optimize campaigns and media plans, reallocating budget, adjusting targeting, testing creative and offers, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scale.
Support fan acquisition and lead generation beyond paid media, partnering with teams on event and stadium activations, QR-code capture, lead-gen opportunities, and other tactics that grow the club's addressable audience.
Project manage cross-functional marketing initiatives, keeping timelines, deliverables, data needs, and agency/internal stakeholders aligned from planning through execution and reporting.
Partner cross-functionally with Ticketing, Creative, CRM, Content, Partnerships, and external media partners to translate business goals into effective campaigns, measurement plans, and actionable insights.
