Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a Logistics Inventory Specialist to be based in London, UK.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Inventory Specialist will oversee end-to-end logistics operations from goods receipt to final mile delivery. With a primary focus on inventory management, the role will ensure strong stock control processes and inventory accuracy across our 3PL network. Working closely with internal teams and 3PL partners, the role is responsible for managing SAP inventory transactions, resolving inbound and outbound processing issues, completing stock reconciliations, supporting quality and technical hold processes, and ensuring accurate execution of returns and proof of delivery activities. This role will support the wider Logistics team in ensuring day to day coverage across all tasks within the team.
Job Description
3PL Operations Support
- Support the Logistics team with the E2E management of our Product flows covering inbound. shipments from factory to outbound customer orders. Ensuring all relevant parties are kept informed.
- Support the Logistics team with cover of key operational tasks as required.
- Act as the primary contact for inventory-related queries and challenges with our 3PLs.
- Manage POD (Proof of Delivery) and uplift processes, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and investigation of relevant trends.
- Support operational meetings with 3PL partners to review inventory performance and issue resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance stock accuracy and operational efficiency.
Inventory Management & Reconciliation
- Own the weekly Book-to-Book stock reconciliation process for our 3PL sites.
- Investigate, root cause, and resolve inventory discrepancies and share recommendations with the Logistics Manager and 3PL as appropriate.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and support corrective actions with warehouse partners.
- Support month-end inventory activities and relevant reporting to key stakeholders.
SAP & IDOC Management
- Monitor and manage inbound and outbound IDOC processing within SAP.
- Investigate and resolve interface errors impacting stock movements and customer deliveries.
- Work closely with IT, Customer Service, Planning, and 3PL partners to resolve transactional issues.
- Ensure SAP inventory records accurately reflect physical stock movements.
Quality & Inventory Control
- Manage technical holds and quality stock processes.
- Coordinate stock releases and inventory adjustments with Quality and warehouse teams.
- Investigate and resolve inventory exceptions impacting customer service or stock availability.
- Ensure inventory processes are executed in line with company standards and controls.
Returns Processing
- Coordinate the processing of returned goods through internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure returned stock is accurately reflected within SAP and .support with stock reconciliation where required.
- Work with our Customer service team to share any relevant insights on process changes to mitigate future returns.
Process Management:
- Support the Order to cash process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in order handling and invoicing.
- Work with the Customer Service team to ensure all customer orders are on the books as close to the requested delivery date as possible, but within capacity limitations.
- Support with core Month End tasks and review invoices & relevant backing data to ensure we have a clear understanding and control of cost deviation within the operation.
Qualifications
Essential: SAP experience, including inventory management and transaction processing.
Strong experience working within Logistics, Warehousing, or Supply Chain operations.
Experience investigating and resolving SAP IDOC errors and stock discrepancies.
Strong inventory control and stock reconciliation experience.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Highly organised, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong level of Excel competency & confidence analysing data sets.
Knowledge of Customs controls & processes advantageous.
PowerBI or SQL experience advantageous.
