Job Description
ORDER MANAGEMENT
In this role you'll play a key role in overseeing production status and strategically managing collections. You'll actively engage with suppliers to ensure up-to-date availability forecasts, identifying and addressing any delays that may arise. In addition, you'll be responsible for effectively communicating and aligning availability plans with internal teams, whilst also maintaining strong supplier relationships and analyzing performance to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
TRANSPORT ORGANIZATION
As part of this role, you'll bee responsible for coordinating transportation from factories, working closely with forwarders to ensure timely delivery while also minimizing costs. You'll also play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all essential documentation. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to identify and implement strategies for improving costs and service levels.
APPAREL PURCHASING
As a key player in our apparel purchasing operations, you'll be responsible for coordinating, planning, aligning, and monitoring important ordering and inbound activities. Your role will involve placing SMS orders via PLM, following up with suppliers, negotiating and validating bulk prices, and aligning ex-factory dates. You'll also ensure the smooth receipt of SMS orders in-house, coordinate the timely distribution of quantities to relevant stakeholders, and support the planning of order and greige booking timelines based on fabric and production lead times. PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Finally, you'll contribute to project management activities from a buying and operations perspective to ensure the on-time delivery of products. You'll support the preparation of project timelines, maintain seasonal order tracking files, and coordinate bi-weekly supplier updates. In addition, you'll participate in weekly virtual meetings with critical suppliers to monitor production status, discuss open topics, and help drive timely resolutions.
Qualifications
5 + years working experience within Operations (Logistics, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Process Management) or similar field, ideally within international environment.
Excellent MS Office skills (especially Microsoft Excel), SAP, experience with other systems related to supply chain management beneficial as well as experience with project management.
Proactive attitude, ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills, team player.
Flexibility, strong prioritization, and time management skills.
Analytical way of thinking, reliability.
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €2.334 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
