Job Description

IN A NUTSHELL

The primary purpose of this role is to globally lead and expand the scope of Market Insights and Strategic Reporting. This involves providing comprehensive, data-source agnostic commercial insights, developing and executing Analytics projects and managing global syndicated data providers such as Nielsen or Circana.

By delivering actionable commercial insights to both local and HQ On & Off Premise Sales Teams, and other key stakeholders including the management board, the role ensures informed decision-making.

Expanding the function of Commercial Insights, the role emphasizes a broader approach that is not limited by specific data sources or sales channels. Additionally, the role is responsible for generating Strategic Reporting for internal stakeholders, focusing on key performance indicators such as volume, market share, and in-store/outlet performance, thereby supporting overall global business performance.

INSIGHT DELIVERY - BRING INSIGHTS TO LIFE IN ACTIONABLE WAY

You’ll provide actionable commercial insights to local and HQ On & Off Premise Teams, the Management Board, and other key stakeholders, ensuring insights are used to inform investment decision-making and focus the commercial organization on the most impactful initiatives, projects, and opportunities. You’ll build strong collaboration across sub-functions within the Commercial Initiatives department, the broader global sales organization, and local markets. Additionally, you’ll prepare analyses to support Business Planning and allocate resources to ad-hoc requests as needed.

GLOBALLY MANAGE SYNDICATED DATA PROVIDERS

You’ll manage global relationships with syndicated data providers such as Nielsen and Circana, ensuring access to relevant, high-quality data. You’ll support country teams with contract setup, data quality topics, and practical questions related to data usage. In addition, you’ll own and manage the Data and Commercial Insights budget, ensuring effective and efficient allocation of resources.

PROVIDE STRATEGIC REPORTING ACROSS ALL COMMERCIALLY RELEVANT KPIS

You’ll generate and deliver strategic reports for internal stakeholders, focusing on key performance indicators such as category volume, market share, distribution, and pricing performance. Through detailed and accurate reporting, you’ll directly support overall global business performance and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

5+ years FMCG experience, preferably beverages

Excellent communication skills orally and in written; team player

Process oriented approach and understanding of sales processes

Experience in International Sales Business and Market Insights, Market Research (Nielsen/Circana)

Project management experience and skills

Econometric Modelling & Statistics

Proficiency in MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint, SAP BI, Power BI and Tableau knowledge, SQL or R is a plus

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 3.220 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
