Job Description
DATA & PROCESS GOVERNANCE OWNERSHIP
You'll be responsible to oversee process and data governance for product related information managed within the Aras PLM system. In addition, you'll own the end-to-end governance framework for Aras PLM data, establishing standards and ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all integrated systems. In addition, you'll validate that new or updated process requirements align with established governance policies before being deployed into production environments. Finally, you'll provide clear accountability, guidance, and oversight to maintain high quality data in the PLM tool.
PROJECT SUPPORT (PLM TOOL)
- Sprint Testing
You'll actively participate in sprint testing cycles together with business stakeholders to validate PLM functionality. You'll execute test cases prepared by Development and IT teams. Furthermore, you'll identify defects, document them clearly, and coordinate with Dev/IT for resolution and re testing. You'll also log defects and change requests, ensuring they are communicated clearly to IT and Development.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
You'll support business teams during UAT and participate directly when required. You'll also contribute to both the recurring sprint‑based UAT cycles (every 1–2 months) and the full end‑to‑end UAT conducted prior to major go‑live milestones.
- Hyper care Support
You'll host weekly Q&A sessions to assist business users during the stabilisation period. You'll join daily hyper care calls with Development, IT, and business teams to track issues and ensure smooth adoption. You'll offer additional guidance on PLM related processes and workflows.
SUPPORT & TICKETING
You'll oversee the transition of PLM processes from project delivery into operational daily business support, ensuring stable and reliable system usage. You'll provide second level support through the established ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow), handling issues escalated beyond first level helpdesk and offering deeper functional and process expertise.
You'll act as a central bridge between business users and technical teams, translating functional needs, system issues, and process impacts into clear, actionable inputs. You'll manage the full ticket lifecycle—prioritising, tracking, and coordinating resolutions—while identifying when certain issues should evolve into system enhancements or project initiatives. You'll drive root cause analysis to convert recurring issues into permanent, scalable fixes that strengthen PLM system stability and data integrity.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION
You'll coordinate and conduct end user training ahead of each go live to ensure readiness and smooth adoption of new Aras PLM capabilities. You'll deliver updated end user training or info sessions to support process or system changes within the PLM environment. You'll maintain and revise training materials to ensure they reflect the latest PLM processes, standards, and functionalities. Finally, you'll develop web-based training modules to provide scalable, accessible learning for all PLM users.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & DATA INTEGRITY
You'll lead continuous improvement initiatives for material master data and related processes. You'll also proactively identify gaps in data or processes, proposing practical and scalable solutions. Furthermore, you'll define quality checks and preventive measures into workflows, and finally you'll deliver short trainings or knowledge-sharing sessions to stakeholders as part of rolling out new enhancements, ensuring smooth adoption and consistent understanding across teams.
