We are looking for a (Junior) Operations Controller who can leverage their analytical abilities and early career experience to contribute to the success of our Global Operations Controlling Team. In this role, you will support the finance and operations teams of Red Bull subsidiaries with a focus on Cost of Sales-related tasks.
Beyond reporting plan vs. actual cost deviations, you will analyze the underlying drivers behind these variances, using your knowledge to identify patterns and improvement opportunities. Your ability to interpret data, communicate insights effectively, and collaborate across teams will be key to optimizing processes and delivering value in this global position.
Job Description
MONTH & YEAR END CLOSING
- Work closely with the finance teams of Red Bull subsidiaries to ensure the accuracy of month and year-end closing data in our systems, especially regarding Cost of Sales and Inventories (including yearly inventory revaluation).
- Support the financial closing process, generate reports, and conduct analyses for MEC.
- Ensure correct financial assessments based on current business developments.
- Take ownership of supporting subsidiaries in resolving issues and continuously improving these processes.
PLANNING CYCLES
- Support Red Bull subsidiaries in business planning and revised forecasts to ensure technical accuracy.
- Ensure the seamless integration of the latest business developments into planning cycles.
- Analyze plan data and secure the content-related quality of data input.
- Provide variance analysis.
PROJECT WORK
- Participate in finance and operations-driven projects.
- Take on cross-functional topics and support their implementation.
- Lead projects from a controlling perspective.
PROCESSES & KNOWLEDGE
- Keep documentation and guidelines updated and contribute to continuous process optimization.
- Support internal finance trainings.
- Enhance quality and efficiency within controlling.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years of experience in controlling, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial processes and analysis
University degree in Business Administration/Finance
Fluent in English
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, with a strong understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
You have a high affinity for IT, with hands-on experience using SAP ERP, SAP BI, and Hyperion
You possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, evaluate, and interpret complex data to derive valuable insights
Focused on achieving results, you are performance-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes
Capable of clearly communicating with internal stakeholders and across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and understanding
You are self-motivated, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can work effectively under pressure
You take ownership of challenges, proactively creating and implementing effective solutions
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
