Company Description

The role will be responsible for advising on product- and labelling-related regulatory compliance, reviewing and advising on marketing collateral, and monitoring of and engagement on key regulatory and governmental changes that impact Red Bull’s strategic interests.  This involves instructing and managing external legal counsels and directly providing legal/regulatory support to key internal stakeholders. It also involves engaging with external stakeholders, including industry associations, on government proposals and policies that impact on Red Bull’s strategic interests.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with key business stakeholders (Labelling, Marketing, Operations, Finance) on key projects and initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance and the success of regulatory strategies.

Monitor, analyse, and report on relevant industry, regulatory, and Government developments across the countries, from both a food law and public policy perspective.

Review and provide input on relevant policy processes and public consultations provided by government, industry, or community organisations/stakeholders.

Legal review of product labels, ingredients, marketing collateral and provision of related legal advice to ensure smooth regulatory compliance.

Represent the business to Government, political, and industry stakeholders.

Work with external advisors on relevant legal and advocacy tasks, including managing the timely and cost-efficient use of these external consultants.

Collaborate with external stakeholders to promote Red Bull’s strategic interests, including but not limited to relevant trade associations or industry groups.

Assist countries’ business teams with internal and external inquiries related to products and/or regulatory compliance.

Align with the Regulatory & Government Affairs Counsel Europe on key tasks, strategies, and approaches, and collaborate with European colleagues on the same.

Advice to, and support for, countries’ business leadership teams on relevant issues, in alignment with the Regulatory & Government Affairs Counsel Europe.

Qualifications

Bac+5 or equivalent, from a recognised university in a government relations-related discipline (i.e., Law, Political Science, Public Affairs, International Relations).

Additional education in corporate communications, food science, or postgraduate education (master’s degree, LL.M., MBA) or equivalent international experience is a plus.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills in both French and English (Spanish is a plus) with the ability to interact at a high government level and under pressure. Ability to build trust and promote confidence both externally and internally.

Results-driven self-starter with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a high-importance, fast-paced dynamic regulatory environment. Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills as well as judgment.

Ability to create and deliver presentations and other educational tools to train the business.

Effective relationship building and collaboration skills.

Ability to prioritise dynamic workload and effectively meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Result-oriented and proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

High resilience and high degree of flexibility, willingness and ready to travel on short notice
