About this role
We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Producer to join our Affiliates team. This is a hands-on & creative role, where you’ll create high quality videos aligned with affiliate priorities and editorial standards. You’ll create engaging affiliate content that aligns with the brand and guidelines, driving traffic to partner sites and generating revenue through affiliate strategies.
You will be responsible for researching product features, understanding target audiences, and crafting compelling content that encourages click-through and conversions. You’ll consider the role of audio and video content for every story, capturing or curating basic footage where appropriate to engage our audiences.
This role is responsible for looking after the social video output and building brand awareness for affiliate social platforms. You’ll shoot original footage, and manage upload and distribution with colleagues ensuring legal, copyright, editorial and ASA compliance. The role supports fast-turnaround publishing across all Reach channels, you’ll stay across trends and industry developments to maximise performance across social media.
What you need to succeed
We are looking for an experienced Video Producer, ideally with a background in affiliates. This role requires someone comfortable working independently, with experience in a similar fast turnaround environment. Experience in a newsroom setting is ideal, but not essential.
Strong knowledge of the social media platforms is essential. You’ll live and breathe social, understanding what hooks and holds attention on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, Facebook and X. You’ll be analytical as well as creative, we are looking for good working knowledge of social media analytics tools.
You’ll be a confident editor and will be well skilled on Premiere Pro/Adobe Express or an equivalent editing programme. NCTJ/BTCJ qualifications are preferred but not a necessity.
