We are looking for an energetic, highly organized, detail oriented, HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT  with excellent customer service skills to join our team. Recent or New graduates with a degree in HR are encouraged to apply. 

Job Description

The Human Resource Assistant supports a variety of human resources initiatives, processes, and programs, to include talent acquisition, employee onboarding and offboarding, and employee engagement. This is a highly visible role with a focus on providing premier customer service both internally and externally. The HR Coordinator acts as an ambassador for new hires and ensures a positive transition into the company. Additionally, the role provides administrative and project support on an as needed basis and has overriding responsibility for maintaining employee files.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Opens, closes, and refreshes requisitions in our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Schedules interviews, and makes travel arrangements for candidates
  • Creates, sends, and monitors offer letters
  • Creates SOX forms for new hires, terminations, and changes, and sends to manager for approvals
  • Initiates background check process and completes I-9’s
  • Creates various reports and sends to payroll for processing
  • Sends information and check lists to new hires and hiring managers
  • Maintains employee files
  • Ensures A-Z folder in Dropbox is current and updates as needed
  • Tracks performance reviews to ensure timely completion and communicates issues to HR management
  • Sends new hire welcome kits and assists with various employee engagement activities
  • Supports social media strategies to include gathering content, making updates to premier pages, posting on Bambu, and other social networking sites
  • Acts as point person for Circa, to include managing and supporting the company outreach strategy and troubleshooting issues
  • Conducts reference checks
  • Works on a variety of special projects and tasks as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year relative experience, human resources experienced a +
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a powerful desire to provide premier customer service internally and externally.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Highly detail oriented, with strong time management skills and organizational skills
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Experience using HRIS and ATS systems is preferred
