Are you an experienced senior nurse ready to take the next step in your clinical leadership career? Join North Shore Private Hospital as our Clinical Coordinator - General Surgery, working at the heart of our Operating Theatre. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your general surgery expertise with hands-on clinical leadership, supporting our Nurse Unit Managers and clinical teams to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care and an exceptional patient experience.

In this permanent, full-time role, you'll help drive best practice, support and develop clinical teams, and contribute to the effective coordination of our General Surgery portfolio in a dynamic operating theatre environment.

The General Surgery portfolio consists of:

• Upper GI
• Colorectal
• Endocrinology
• Breast surgery
• Bariatric surgery

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong General Surgery clinical skillset and recent management experience within a hospital setting.

You will have exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent client care and customer service.

 You will also bring:

• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA
• Minimum five (5) years’ post graduate nursing experience
• Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager
• Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
• Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff including recruitment, rostering and performance management.
• Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and capital resources.

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate of $70.89 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Nursing/Midwifery Unit Manager Level 1)
