Job Description
About The Role
Play a key role in the governance, performance and operational delivery of public healthcare contracts across Ramsay Health Care.
An exciting opportunity exists to join Ramsay Health Care's National Public Contracting team, supporting the effective management and delivery of contracted public health services, with a particular focus on the Queensland Government's Surgery Connect program.
Reporting to the Queensland Public Contract Manager, you will play an important role in strengthening contract governance, monitoring contractual performance and compliance, and ensuring operational requirements are effectively coordinated across Ramsay facilities for public contracts.
Acting as a central point of coordination between hospital teams, corporate functions and external stakeholders, you will help identify and resolve operational challenges, support risk management and governance activities, and drive improvements in contract management processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Contract governance and compliance: Coordinate contract administration and governance processes, monitor contractual obligations and ensure compliance requirements, reporting deadlines and key milestones are effectively managed.
- Surgery Connect operational oversight: Coordinate operational requirements across participating facilities, monitor patient referral pathways and work with stakeholders to resolve issues impacting service delivery.
- Performance monitoring and reporting: Monitor contractual KPIs, service delivery performance and reporting obligations, identifying emerging issues and coordinating appropriate follow-up actions.
- Risk management and assurance: Support the identification and escalation of contractual, operational and compliance risks, and coordinate audit activities, corrective actions and governance reporting.
- Stakeholder engagement: Build effective working relationships with hospital management, clinical and corporate teams, and external public health stakeholders to facilitate effective contract delivery.
- Process improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to strengthen contract management systems, streamline processes and improve consistency, accountability and operational efficiency.
