The Avenue is an advanced 152 bed private surgical and medical hospital located in the inner city suburb of Windsor. The staff at the hospital are committed to providing quality health care and excellence in customer service.

The hospital has 11 operating theatres, large day surgery centre, a High Dependency Unit, a Dermatology Centre and advanced interventional imaging services (including MRI, CT and Ultrasound).

Join our High Dependency Unit and deliver advanced, patient-centred care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to work with complex medical and surgical patients requiring close monitoring and specialised intervention.

About the Role

As part of our dedicated HDU team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care, perform advanced clinical assessments, manage complex therapies, and respond promptly to clinical deterioration. You will work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

About You:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in HDU, ICU or acute medical/surgical settings
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to safe, evidence-based practice
