About the Role:
Join our team as a Housekeeping Team Leader on a permanent full-time basis!
Provides and maintains the highest standards of cleanliness in line with infection control guidelines in all areas throughout the hospital whilst delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Assists the Hospitality Services Manager as required to ensure provision of highest quality department
services.
You will be responsible and accountable for own designated cleaning and patient service responsibilities, and accountable for team of cleaners and/or Environmental Services Attendants, providing guidance and supervision as necessary. You will also:
- Attend relevant in-house training sessions to further your knowledge and skills in performing duties to the highest standard
- Adhere to Infection Control Policies and Procedures in relation to cleaning equipment and the clinical environment
- Ensure all cleaning activities are correctly documented as per schedule of the cleaning program
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the hospital
- Adhere to all Infection Control guidelines and be involved in department programs and practices which comply with infection control regulations
- Ensure all equipment utilised on the shift is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage area
About You:
To be successful in this role you will bring effective communication and interpersonal skills as well as the following:
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Experience in hospital cleaning
- Excellent time management skills
