As an experienced Birthing Suite Midwife, you may be looking for opportunities to broaden your experience, take on additional responsibilities and further develop your leadership capability while remaining actively involved in patient care.

As our maternity service continues to grow, we are seeking experienced Birthing Suite Midwives who are interested in developing their leadership skills and contributing more broadly to the success of our service.

Opportunities exist for experienced clinicians to build leadership capability through in-charge responsibilities, shift coordination and Acting Team Leader opportunities, while remaining connected to the clinical work they enjoy.

Many of our midwives have built long-term careers at North Shore. They value the opportunity to work within an experienced team, build strong professional relationships and continue developing their clinical expertise in a busy and established Birthing Suite.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:

• Build leadership capability while remaining clinically connected.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current registration as a Midwife with AHPRA.
• Recent Birthing Suite experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional care to women and families.
• An interest in supporting colleagues and developing your leadership capability.

Sponsorship may be considered for suitably qualified candidates who already hold current AHPRA registration as a Midwife.

What’s in it for You?

A Competitive salary: A base hourly rate of $40.24 - $56.52 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties (NSW RN/Midwife Grades 1–8)

• Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
