About Role: 

Our John Flynn Private Hospital caters to a wide range of nutritious meals to patients. As part of our Catering team, you'll collaborate with a dynamic and fast-moving group dedicated to providing outstanding customer service.

This role will involve:

• Maintaining food hygiene, a clean working area and safety practices
• Deliver Food & beverages to the hospital patients and doctors
• Washing dishes and cleaning in accordance with the FSP
• Assists in the monitoring and recording requirements of the FSP, for example, recording temperatures, cleaning schedule completion, receipt of goods.
• Assisting the broader team as required to plate meals while maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
• Availability across a 7-day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts

About You: 

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and be punctual, reliable, with a dedication to offering authentic, friendly customer service.

• Previous experience in a customer service, kitchen and hospitality is essential
• Previous experience in hospitals is desirable
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
• Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace, Health and Safety
• Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay’s core values

Additional Information

• Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
