An exceptional senior leader opportunity is now available for an experienced and commercially astute pharmacy leader to join Ramsay Pharmacy as Head of Pharmacy.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Ramsay Pharmacy, this pivotal leadership role is responsible for driving strategic and operational excellence across a large-scale, multi-site pharmacy portfolio spanning both hospital and community settings.

About the Role

As Head of Pharmacy, you will provide enterprise level leadership across the full pharmacy value chain, ensuring safe, efficient and patient centred services across the network. You will work closely with executive leaders, clinical teams and key stakeholders to deliver operational excellence, continuous improvement and long-term strategic value aligned with Ramsay Health Care’s vision and priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the execution of strategic and operational initiatives across a diverse pharmacy network
• Driving performance, scalability and operational consistency across multiple sites
• Overseeing clinical governance, medication safety, quality and regulatory compliance
• Managing divisional financial performance, commercial sustainability and investment priorities
• Leading workforce capability, leadership development and organisational transformation
• Optimising procurement, supply chain and inventory management across the division
• Partnering with executive, clinical and external stakeholders to support integrated care and innovation
• Driving digital enablement, automation and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You are a highly experienced pharmacy leader with a strong track record leading complex health operations at scale. You combine strategic thinking with operational excellence and are passionate about building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) recognised in Australia
• Extensive senior leadership experience within a complex or multi-site healthcare environment
• Demonstrated success leading operational performance, service delivery and transformation initiatives
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience driving sustainable growth
• Expertise in clinical governance, medication safety, quality and risk management
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and executive influencing capability
• A leadership style aligned with collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
