Job Description

Permanent Part-time Mat leave cover 12 months

Hollywood Private Hospital (HPH) is seeking nurses to join our Gurney ward that offers one of the most comprehensive selections of surgical services in WA’s largest private hospital. The specialties encompass General Surgical/Vascular/Infectious Diseases patients.

Duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:

  • Delivery of high-quality patient care to a diverse range of acute care surgical patients.
  • Coordinate and deliver comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care, including complex wound management.
  • Ensuring all care is delivered in line with the core values and strategic direction of Hollywood Private Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.  
  • Your day-to-day operations will include problem solving, fostering a positive and supportive culture, ensuring patient safety and continuous improvement.
  • Provide supervision, guidance and support to nursing staff within your team.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with recent experience.

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Clinical Nurse
  • Relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
  • A minimum of 5 years post registration experience, including experience in General Surgical and Vascular
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Understanding scope of practice
  • Ability to manage designated portfolio and display sound leadership skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge / experience in accreditation processes, clinical indicators and other quality projects.

Remuneration

$102,387.90 - $108,784.58 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
