Your new role
You will support the business in a variety of areas, seeking to bridge the gap between legal complexity and practical implementation. Whilst data privacy will be the main focus, you will also support with knowledge in AI governance, and how the organisation handles NIS2 requirements, alongside colleagues in cyber security. You may not be equally as expert in all areas, but you are open to learning. You will work within Ramboll's Global guidelines and with the support of your team.
Aside from being able to handle tasks independently, you also lean on the team for sparring and input. You are a confident communicator, with a positive attitude and a sense of humour.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Project support to the Business Units and Geographies
- Assist Business Units in meeting client requirements through assessments, implementation, and risk identification related to Privacy, AI, and NIS2, as well as Ramboll’s internal global standards.
- Participate in meetings with a variety of stakeholders, from internal project teams to work councils, confidently communicating your expertise.
- Provide assistance to data subject rights requests, and data breach handling.
Internal Process Improvement
- Work with your team to identify areas of improvement, and collaborate on finding ways to make processes smoother, more efficient, and people friendly.
- Occasionally manage larger scale improvement projects yourself, checking in with the team for support.
Support the Global Data Regulation Programme
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and compliance activities of the Global Data Regulation Programme, including updating processing records, reviewing vendors/systems/projects, and addressing ad-hoc data regulation concerns.
- Assist Process Owners in fulfilling personal data processing requirements, and partnering with them to ensure best compliance outputs.
- Assist with annual audits as documented in the annual wheel.
About you
- A master’s degree in law, or another degree with suitable experience. Certifications such as a CIPP/E/AIGP (or similar) certifications are a bonus.
- At least 4+ years experience supporting data privacy activities, preferably within an international organisation; exposure to AI & Information Security.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- To be methodical, thorough, and able to manage competing priorities.
- Professional proficiency in English and German, verbally and in writing.
