Job Location:- Mumbai (Preferred) | Chennai | Bangalore | Hyderabad | Gurgaon | Noida


Role Overview

The Architect – Data Center will design and own the delivery of architectural solutions for mission-critical projects, focusing on design development, BIM modelling, and documentation. 

You will work with a senior architect to develop coordinated, technically sound, and constructible designs, while gaining exposure to data center planning and multidisciplinary integration.

 

Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design & Development

  • Assist in Schematic and detailed design (LOD200–350)
  • Develop Plans, sections, elevations, and details
  • Support Data Hall layouts and space planning

BIM Modelling & Documentation (CORE ROLE)

  • Develop and manage Revit models
  • Prepare Construction drawings And Schedules and documentation
  • Create Parametric families and drawing sets

Coordination with MEP & Other Disciplines

  • Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, ELV, Structural teams
  • Support Clash detection and resolution
  • Implement Design changes based on coordination inputs

 Documentation & Deliverables

  • Assist in preparation of Technical reports AND BOQs and specifications
  • Ensure Drawing quality and consistency

Project & Team Support

  • Support senior architects in Design development AND Client deliverables
  • Participating in Design reviews and coordination meetings

Construction Exposure

  • Assist in Shop drawing reviews AND Site queries (RFIs)
  • Gain exposure to Construction processes

Mandatory Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Strong fundamentals in Architectural design and detailing
  • Basic understanding of Data center layouts (preferred) AND MEP coordination

 

Qualifications

Experience
5 to 10 years work Experience with at least 2 years in Data Center

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s in Architecture
  • Good to Have -Experience in Data center / industrial / large commercial projects
  • Familiarity with Codes and standards (NBC, fire safety
  • Exposure to BIM workflows

Software Skills

  • Revit (mandatory)
  •  AutoCAD
  • Visualization tools (preferred)
  • Communication (IMPORTANT)
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written)
  •  Ability to explain drawings and intent of design clearly
  • Willingness to learn data center design
