Job Description
The Planning & Logistics Manager builds and maintains the systems, tools, and processes that support market growth and long-term operational stability. This role improves scalable planning platforms, strengthen cross-functional visibility, and enables better decision-making across teams. They lead tool design, documentation management, planning workflows, and vendor coordination to ensure accurate, up-to-date information that drive efficient deployments and success Restaurant openings. This position also produces reporting and insights that support execution across both new and existing markets.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain the strategic deployment system for all Growth Team schedules at opening and in supporting markets, optimizing trainer allocation to reduce costs and maximize operational efficiency
- Enhance, update, and maintain all Planning & Logistics resources, tools, and documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and accessibility across teams
- Conduct ongoing analysis of deployment and opening plans, providing data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and achieve optimal execution
- Oversee continued building and deployment of the Growth Timeline and related processes to improve alignment and execution
- Utilize the project management system to track all growth-related information, documents, milestones, and reporting; identify opportunities to enhance system functionality
- Improve growth-related processes to ensure scalability, consistency, and visibility across teams
- Lead development and maintenance of planning tools within the company’s centralized planning platform, streamlining workflows and strengthening cross-functional visibility
- Coordinate with internal partner and external vendors with these tools, ensuring accurate, timely information to support effective deployments and successful openings
- Produce clear, actionable reporting on spend, performance, deployment progress, and overall operational health, ensuring materials are executive-ready
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a quick service or service-based company
- Experience building workflows or tools in systems such as Airtable, Salesforce, Smartsheet, or similar enterprise workflow solutions
- Expertise in technology systems, especially Microsoft Office and Quickbase
- Time management, project management, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple short-range projects simultaneously
- Ability to handle highly confidential information
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recognize and address issues
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
