Test Analyst

  • Full-time
  • Department: Technology & Data
  • Work Pattern: Office Based (5 days onsite)

Job Description

Join a high-impact team shaping the future of telematics.

We’re looking for a Test Analyst to join one of our core software development teams within our growing telematics business.

This team plays a key role in building and enhancing one of our flagship platforms, used to power connected vehicle solutions for businesses.

If you’re passionate about quality, enjoy getting into the detail of how systems work, and want to be part of a collaborative agile team, this could be a great next step.

While this role is focused on manual testing, automation is likely to play a role role in what we do in the future.

What you’ll be doing…

You’ll provide manual testing expertise across the full delivery lifecycle, working closely with developers and delivery managers to ensure quality is built into everything we ship.

This is a role where you’ll be expected to take ownership, challenge where needed, and raise the bar for quality.

Your work will include:

  • Designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
  • Hands-on manual testing across UI, API, exploratory and regression testing
  • Maintaining and improving regression test packs
  • Identifying, logging, and managing defects through to resolution
  • Providing clear updates on testing progress and outcomes
  • Contributing to agile ceremonies and pushing for continuous improvement

What we’re looking for…

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in manual software testing (UI, regression, exploratory, API)
  • Comfortable working across web and back-end systems
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in solving problems
  • Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experienced working in an Agile delivery environment

Although not essential, it would be nice if you have:

  • Exposure to test automation tools or frameworks
  • ISTQB Foundation certification

What you can expect from us…

Meaningful work

You’ll be contributing to a critical telematics platform that supports connected vehicle solutions used by businesses globally.

A standout workspace

Based in our purpose-built Telematics HQ at Arden Square, Crewe, you’ll enjoy:

  • Modern, collaborative workspaces
  • Onsite pizzeria, café, and barista station
  • A unique rooftop bar
  • And yes… Star Wars themed features throughout the office!
