Job Description

The Head of Sales role will be a key part of the Belgian management team, responsible for the delivery of the key business objectives in Belgium. You will be responsible for the leadership of 110 FTE across 2 sites, in Ronse and Antwerp.

  • Day to day management of the internal sales, marketing and services teams
  • Positioning Radius as the best-in-class service provider for fuel, EV and telecoms solutions.
  • Recruitment, coaching and developing people further commercially, building strong market awareness. Strengthen sales skills and capabilities within the organisation.
  • Working closely with all internal stakeholders to deliver a superior service and business growth   
  • Leading the sales department to achieve sales results as required by the business
  • Leading the service department to manage the end to end customer lifecycle, maximising margins
  • Managing Value-added-Sale cross-selling opportunities to improve customer retention
  • Creating Innovative solutions working alongside Marketing to acquire new customers and manage marketing budget vs. spend
  • Manage the operational element of the Recruitment and Selection process
  • Design and Deliver best-in-class training programmes for new start induction and agent development
  • Create a roadmap for succession planning for future management and leadership development
  • Create a compelling environment to support performance and retention of people
  • Managing the large accounts proactively and driving the organisation to exceed customer expectations in terms of service.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent experience in a business related discipline.
  • Significant experience of coaching, motivating & managing commercial  account managers.
  • Demonstrate leadership by example.
  • Experience of leading inside sales teams (ideally lead a team of Outbounders – 7-10 persons)
  • Ability to influence decision makers.
  • Evidence of successfully motivating team to deliver business objectives effectively.
  • Career achiever at the highest levels.
  • Impressive professional credentials and career history.
  • At ease with numbers and P&L
  • Instantly credible with the presence and experience to drive sales growth.
  • Analytical skills (draw conclusions and actions from analyses of numbers)
  • Proven track record in a similar role.
  • Operates to the highest professional standards.

Preference

  • Sector experience (Fuel, EV, Telematics, Banking and/or Insurance in small entities)
