Job Description
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Strategy Business Partner to join our team and help drive strategic thinking, business performance and long-term growth across RWWA
Reporting to the Head of Strategy, you will partner with Executive and Senior Leaders to translate corporate objectives into actionable strategies, strategic roadmaps and business plans that deliver measurable outcomes. Leveraging data, market insights and commercial analysis, you will identify opportunities, mitigate risks and support informed decision-making through compelling business cases. Working across a complex and highly regulated environment, you will build strong stakeholder partnerships and influence outcomes that support RWWA's strategic priorities.
Other Key Accountabilities include;
- Synthesise research, data and modelling into high-quality Executive and Board papers, presentations and recommendations.
- Provide strategic advice through scenario analysis, trade-off assessments and long-term planning.
- Analyse complex business data and market trends to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks and improve business performance.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards and performance reporting to track progress against strategic priorities.
- Act as a central point of coordination across divisions to drive the successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Engage executives, senior leaders and external stakeholders to influence outcomes and deliver strategic objectives.
Qualifications
About you
- Tertiary qualification in business, strategy or finance, or significant experience in a related field. (Desirable)
- Typically 5+ years’ experience in management consulting, corporate strategy or senior operational roles.
- Advanced capability in translating complex data sets into clear, executable business cases.
- Excellent data analysis, financial modelling and interpretation skills.
- Experience in designing, implementing, measuring and reporting on performance frameworks.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive presence, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the Racing and Wagering industry. (Desirable)
