Job Description
The Role
In this niche and interesting position you will be responsible for the implementation of the marketing strategy for Greyhounds as Pets (GAP) adoption centre in Southern River. Specifically, this role will promote available greyhounds and drive demand for greyhounds as pets using online media, events, partnerships and traditional media.
Daily activities will include:
- Develop strong and productive relationships with industry stakeholders.
- Liaise with external partners and internal stakeholders to leverage media opportunities.
- Brief and coordinate the production of marketing materials.
- Produce content for Social and digital media and EDMs.
- Manage social media channels.
- Maintain website content.
- Coordinate and produce content for social and digital media and EDMs.
- Coordinate event bookings, marketing collateral, and promotion.
- Coordinate and plan production of signage, printed media and merchandise.
- Any other duties as directed by the Marketing Team Lead – Welfare.
Qualifications
About You
- A passion for animal welfare and dog ownership - experience with Greyhounds would be highly regarded
- Experience in the utilization of digital marketing tools.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing a marketing strategy.
- Experience in email delivery software.
- Ability to implement social media marketing campaigns (Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook).
- Strong abilities with using the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator).
- Well-developed writing skills and ability to adjust to different platforms and audiences.
- Small to medium event coordination experience.
Preferable:
- Experience briefing creative assets to design/graphics team.
- Experience in the animal welfare or social services environment.
