Job Description

This role supports Radisson Hotel Group's revenue and growth objectives in South Asia by sourcing, evaluating and helping negotiate License Agreements and management contracts that meet quality standards and are REVPAR-accretive. Provides financial analysis, financial models and development documentation for prospective hotels to support the Development team and business units in achieving their goals.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Sources, evaluates and supports negotiation of License Agreements and management contracts that meet RHG's brand standards, working with the Senior Director to close deals
    • Generates leads through developers, brokers, consultants, private equity investors, other operators and government tourism bodies; qualifies interest and shares development packets
    • Presents RHG's capabilities to prospective owners, developers and investors through on-site visits and hosted visits to RHG offices
    • Contributes to strategies for acquiring management/franchise contracts aligned with the region's strategic direction and growth targets
    • Acts as liaison with Operations from signing through opening to ensure a smooth transition into the Radisson system

 

  1. Evaluates potential agreements against RHG's standards and requirements, gathering data and presenting recommendations to the development committee
    • Gathers and analyses financial capability, feasibility studies, location and quality-of-operations data to qualify prospective projects
    • Conducts preliminary on-site evaluations of prospective Radisson hotels
    • Coordinates with Legal and Finance to ensure standards and legal compliance, and with Operations to confirm the hotel meets brand standards
    • Keeps current with industry trends by representing RHG at industry events, supporting brand recognition

 

  1. Corporate Planning: supports concept development, strategic planning and market analysis for the region
    • Supports vision, concept planning and storyboarding, and provides input on regional business direction
    • Assists in developing, communicating and monitoring strategic objectives
    • Prepares Development team presentation materials (decks, brand collateral) for investor conferences, internal meetings and owner presentations
    • Monitors go-to-market strategy and competitor activity
      • Field, industry and competitor research / benchmarking
      • Monitoring and critique of existing strategy

 

  1. Special Projects: supports regional, cross-functional initiatives related to development strategy
    • Performs other duties as assigned

 

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLs:

Communication & Presentation

Communicates clearly and persuasively, using reflective listening to facilitate options and action planning; engages audiences and builds rapport when presenting

Sales & Financial Analysis

Articulates RHG's value to help close deals with prospective owners and developers; analyses financial data using standard tools and methods to evaluate project viability and inform recommendations

Research

Gathers information from varied sources and summarises findings clearly to support decision-making

Position-Specific Knowledge & Skills:

    • Hotel development experience
    • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; proficient in spreadsheets and databases
    • Fluent in English and Hindi – written, verbal and presentations
