We are now looking for Receptionists to join our brand-new team at Radisson RED Reykjavik.

Our Receptionists love the hustle and bustle of life. It’s not just about check-in and check-out - it’s about everything in between. In true RED style, this role goes beyond the desk. You are a Front of House Host, owning the guest experience across the hotel - from arrival to the bar, from lobby vibes to guest moments in every corner.

At Radisson RED Reykjavik, Front of House is the heart and soul of the hotel As a Receptionist (Front of House Host as we call it), you bring an unmatched level of dedication, a focus on delivering exceptional service and a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

You are a natural host who thrives in a fast-paced, social environment, with the confidence and flexibility to move across different areas of the hotel. Whether you’re welcoming guests at reception, supporting in Food & Beverage, or creating atmosphere in our public spaces, you play a key role in delivering a seamless and vibrant guest journey. You will:

• Be our guests’ superhero, ensuring all aspects of the guest journey and experience are delivered to the highest level
• Create memorable first impressions and lasting connections through engaging, personalised service
• Manage check-in, check-out and all guest interactions in a smooth, efficient and professional manner
• Act as a true Front of House Host, confidently stepping beyond the front desk to support across guest-facing areas, including Food & Beverage when needed
• Bring energy and personality to the hotel, helping to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere in all public spaces
• Work proactively to ensure guest satisfaction and the smooth running of the Front of House operation
• Handle guest enquiries, requests and challenges with patience, empathy and a solution-focused mindset
• Collaborate closely with the wider team, including Food & Beverage and the Front of House Manager, to deliver a seamless experience
• Confidently “host the show,” creating moments that guests will remember

• Flexibility and a positive, Yes I Can! attitude
• An eye for detail and a commitment to high standards
• A creative, solution-oriented mindset
• Passion for creating extraordinary guest experiences
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across different areas
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Icelandic is an advantage
• Enjoys a dynamic environment and likes having fun at work
• Previous experience in hospitality or a guest-facing role is beneficial but not essential
