Job Description

Primary Objective

Work closely within Product & Solution Delivery team and internal stakeholders to support user requirements gathering sessions, develop testing approach, prepare test data, write test cases, execute User Acceptance Testing (manual testing) and support post-deployment testing. Responsible for the defect lifecycle. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Product Manager on system initiatives, test planning and preparation.
  • Responsible for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct.
  • Understand system functionalities, prepare test cases based on user requirements and execute test plans to ensure the deliverables meet the bank’s requirements.
  • Undertake activities to execute system tests and processes to help drive digitization and innovation for the bank.
  • Responsible to generate reports, materials and presentations for performance measures.
  • Adopt the best practices in executing the test plans and manage the defect lifecycle.
  • Using defect management tools such as JIRA and Confluence to log, track and deliver fixes.
  • Consolidate test results and related information for management reporting.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / Degree Holder.
  • At least 1 to 2 years' of relevant experience in a Product / Tester related role in the digital banking area.
  • Or has completed 2 project lifecycles/rollouts/releases.
  • Have sound knowledge on business operations, digital banking and supporting IT systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cash & Trade products and services is not required but it'll be considered an advantage.
  • Self-starter.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented and strong in diagnosing root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication, report writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Adopt a strong control-conscious working environment.
