Job Description
The Job briefly
Our Integration Expert is a key member of our IT Run Team responsible for maintaining the highest level of development and after support for key system integrations and processes. The Integration Expert participates in the management, monitoring, and maintenance of innovative solutions between internal and external information systems that support our IT strategy and business objectives.
A Typical Day
- Manage the deployment and monitoring of key system integrations to our current ERP platform through Boomi and other applications.
- Cooperation with internal and external customers to support complex business process integrations between systems.
- Support the implementation of Boomi platform and manage the integration of current systems with and around it.
- Triage, diagnose, and resolve integration failures in a high paced production environment.
- Coordinate with the Build team to manage releases aligned with our IT setups.
- Provide expertise in business process integrations across a broad range of integration patterns and technologies, including CSV, XML, API, and EDI.
Qualifications
To Land This Opportunity
- You have at least six (6) years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise scale integrations between internal and external systems.
- You have a minimum of three (3-5) years of experience to Boomi.
- You have excellent written and communication skills (English) with proven experience working with internal and external customers, vendors, and technology partners.
- You have a working knowledge of business concepts and processes (sales order processing, purchasing, distribution, payables, and receivables).
- You can operate across multiple projects concurrently.
- You have strong experience with multiple data integration patterns and data formats including traditional EDI (ANSI X12 and EDIFACT), CXML, ODATA, JSON, flat files, and working knowledge of SQL.
- You have demonstrated experience developing and managing APIs.
- You’re familiar with common integration communication methods including https, sftp, AS2, and other types of communication protocols.
- You have experience defining and executing integration and user acceptance tests as they apply to the development of system integration solutions.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- You enjoy leading the way on large projects with multiple participants across business and technology teams.
- You love to work collaboratively with the team and share new concepts and ideas.
