Now, we’re looking for a The AVP-Release Management who will focus on optimizing release processes, enhancing collaboration across teams, and driving continuous improvement in release management practices. 

What you will do:

• Stakeholder & vendor communication & management
• Managing stakeholder (Business Leads & other involved parties) expectations before and during project implementations and releases.  
• Facilitating/Participating scrum ceremonies: daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retrospective meeting
• Tracking and mitigation of delivery risk with stakeholders (BLS, BAs & technology support)
• Working closely with Architecture, & Technology Support, Testing Teams for project deliveries, quality assurance
• Ensure all are aligned and adhered as per INFOSEC guidelines.
• Coordination with INFOSEC for risk assessment, with Internal Controls for operations & procedures.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Certification Requirement: PMP, Prince-2, Scrum Agile, Digital certifications, Fintech knowledge

• 10 plus years of Project Delivery/Management in BFSI or in Fintech.
• Proven experience in release management or a similar role within a technical or banking environment.
• Excellent project management skills, with a certification in PMP or similar being advantageous.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to the banking industry.
• Proficient in project management tools and software, such as JIRA or Microsoft Project.

Skills:

• Effective in communication, negotiation, and problem solving.
• Conceptual understanding of root-cause-analysis, time-scope management
• Significant level of Technology awareness of digital, core and other banking domains; operational knowledge and experience
• Knowledge and experience on Project Management, and Vendor Management (including contract negotiations).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges during the release process.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
