Job Overview
Responsible for increasing wallet share from a portfolio of assigned clients by meeting the service targets through strong relationship management skills and effective service delivery.
What you will be doing
To effectively manage allocated portfolio and recognize, create, or act upon business opportunities. - To call on, identify, market and book new business from existing clients / client referrals and deepen existing relationships through increased wallet share. - Maintains a complete understanding of all products and services offered by the Unit distribution channels, with knowledge sufficient to discuss product attributes fully and confidently. - Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer requirements by engaging with all customers in a professional manner and within set guidelines and demonstrating sound knowledge of all aspects of the services while assisting the seniors to seek and build on-going relationships with clients in order to sell services in line with the departmental sales plan and budget targets. - Ensure timely escalation of complaints to avoid delay in resolving customer queries. - Promotes bank services by providing consistent, accurate and transparent information to customer and educate customers on alternative channels provided. - Performs assigned operational tasks and ensures adherence to timescales and high degree of accuracy whilst providing excellent customer service and adhering to all appropriate process and procedures and enables department to achieve high performance standards without compromising on quality. - Ensures retention measures are appropriately carried out to deter loss of business
Qualifications
What you should have
- Bachelor degree in any related field
- 2-3 years’ experience in sales preferably in a financial institution
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to effectively partner with peers and senior management in driving change - Ability to multi-task
