Enterprise Architect to join our team at Dubai Silicon Oasis, where you'll lead the way in designing and implementing the bank’s IT infrastructure to align with business objectives, ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability. This role is crucial in ensuring that our technological infrastructure supports our strategic objectives, particularly in the areas of Core Banking, Islamic Banking, Loans, Trade Finance, and Treasury.

What you will do:

• Strategic Vision & Solution Design: Develop and lead enterprise architecture strategies and design scalable, secure solutions for Core Banking, Islamic Banking, Loans, Trade Finance, and Treasury while aligning with business goals.

• Collaboration & Business Alignment: Work with business units, IT teams, and external partners to gather requirements, align strategies, and ensure solutions meet current and future needs. Communicate plans and decisions clearly to stakeholders.

• Technology & Standards: Evaluate and recommend technologies that align with architectural goals while establishing and enforcing industry standards and best practices within the organization.

• Process Optimization & Risk Management: Refine business processes to enhance efficiency and mitigate architectural risks by implementing proactive strategies.

• Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement: Document architectural frameworks, mentor technical teams, and stay updated with industry trends to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

• Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment.

• Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
• Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organization functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.
• Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
• Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

• Education: Bachelor's in Engineering, MCA, or Master's in Computer Science.

• Industry Experience: Over 10 years in banking technology with specialization in Core Banking, Islamic Banking, Loans, Trade Finance, and Treasury.

• Solution Implementation: Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-level banking solutions.

• Regulatory and Compliance Expertise: Deep understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements to ensure solutions meet industry standards.

• Architectural Proficiency: Expertise in architectural frameworks, design patterns, and methodologies, including TOGAF and Enterprise Architecture.

Skills:

• Technical Acumen: Skilled in defining high-availability, scalable application architectures, encompassing front-end interfaces, back-end services, SOA integrations, databases, data modeling, operational models, and infrastructure sizing.

• Security Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of security standards and best practices to ensure secure application architectures.

• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills to guide teams and drive successful outcomes.

• Multitasking & Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

• Hardware Optimization: Proficiency in hardware sizing to enable optimal infrastructure performance.
