Network Aviation, part of the Qantas Group, is looking for a Risk and Systems Coordinator to support the ongoing management and continuous improvement of our Safety Management System (SMS) and risk management processes across the Network Group. Reporting to the Manager Safety Systems, you'll coordinate risk identification, analysis and mitigation activities, maintain governance and reporting frameworks, support safety and risk data analysis, and work closely with stakeholders to promote a proactive safety culture. This role is ideal for a safety or risk professional who enjoys working with data, systems and people to drive meaningful improvements and support safe, compliant operations.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a safety, risk, systems, assurance or operational support role
- Experience with risk management frameworks, risk documentation and action management processes
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and provide meaningful insights
- Experience preparing reports, governance materials, procedures and communications
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, collaboration and influencing skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as SharePoint
- Knowledge of aviation and occupational safety legislation, standards and codes of practice
- Year 12 qualification, with safety-related qualifications highly regarded
