At Network Aviation, we're incredibly proud of our West Australian heritage. We play an important role in connecting communities and industries, operating over 300 weekly flights to destinations throughout WA and beyond. These flights include Fly-in, Fly-out (FIFO) services for the resources industry, corporate charter, routine or emergency freight, as well as regular airline services on behalf of Qantas.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the Finance Business Partner Lead and senior stakeholders across the business to provide financial planning, analysis and strategic advice that supports operational and commercial decision-making. You will play a critical role in management reporting, financial control, budgeting and forecasting, while challenging and supporting the business to achieve its performance objectives.
This is an opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing outcomes, and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic operational environment.
You will:
- Partner with senior operational, commercial and executive stakeholders
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial performance analysis activities
- Provide insight and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Analyse business performance and identify opportunities to improve outcomes
- Support investment decisions, business cases and project reviews
- Drive finance transformation and process improvement initiatives
- Strengthen reporting, governance and financial control processes
- Lead and influence key stakeholders across the business to achieve financial and operational objectives
- Support compliance, risk management and audit activities
- Coach, mentor and help build capability across the wider finance team
To be considered, you’ll have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
- CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent)
- Significant experience in business partnering, management accounting or commercial finance roles
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis capability
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate financial information into commercial insights
- Experience working within complex operational or asset-intensive environments
- Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- A continuous improvement mindset with experience driving process or systems enhancements
- Demonstrated leadership capability through mentoring, coaching or leading projects and initiatives
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
