As the Finance Manager, Frontline Labour you will lead Finance Business Partnering support for our Flight Operations, Cabin Crew, Workforce Planning and Operations Delivery teams. You'll play a critical role in providing financial leadership, commercial insight and strategic support across one of Jetstar's most operationally significant cost bases.

Working closely with senior operational leaders, you'll provide expertise across forecasting, budgeting, workforce cost modelling, business cases, contract reviews and financial performance reporting. You'll also partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, drive accountability and support the delivery of Jetstar's Cost Transformation Program.

The core responsibilities of this role include:

  • Partnering with operational leadership teams to provide commercial insight and drive improved business performance.
  • Delivering monthly performance reporting, analysis and commentary.
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting and workforce cost planning activities.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and providing recommendations to support decision making.
  • Developing business cases, contract evaluations and detailed financial models.
  • Supporting cost transformation initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
  • Educating and supporting leaders to improve financial capability and accountability.

You'll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business and CA/CPA qualification.
  • Minimum 7 years' post-graduate accounting or finance experience.
  • Proven Finance Business Partnering experience within a complex corporate environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, challenge and build credibility with senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and performance reporting.
  • Advanced financial modelling and business case development capability.
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Exposure to TM1 and Oracle Financials will be highly regarded.
  • Aviation, transport, engineering or other labour-intensive industry experience will be advantageous.
